The CORTEX is a high quality textile jacket that represents the flagship of our Roadster range, a guarantee of excellence. This garment has a sporty and captivating appearance, characterized by lines and volumes inspired by the world of racing. The shells injected on the shoulders, the printed inserts and the foam reinforcements present in various parts of the jacket further enhance the racing look.
In addition to its successful design, the CORTEX stands out for its high level of functionality. The 3 in 1 structure allows it to be used in all seasons, offering unparalleled comfort thanks to details designed to improve the driving experience. As for the fit, the FIT cut of the jacket is close to the body, ideal for those with a sculpted build. However, it may be necessary to choose a size larger than usual.
Made from ST2 600D ripstop polyester, the jacket features a drymesh, mesh, taffeta and 600D polyester interior with 3D mesh. The removable drymesh membrane guarantees waterproofness and breathability, while the removable thermal lining with mesh comfort panel under the armpits ensures good thermal insulation.
In terms of safety, the CORTEX is CE certified, class A, compliant with EN 17092-4:2020. The CE level 1 type A ventilated protectors on the shoulders and elbows offer additional safety, and are compatible with additional protectors for the back and chest, in addition to the Ixon IX-AIRBAG U03 airbag vest, available as an option.
The vest features large ventilation zips at the chest, biceps and back, as well as numerous adjustment options at the neck, biceps, ribs, forearms, wrists and waist. The pockets include two external, two internal (including one waterproof for the wallet) and a lining pocket.
The collar is lined in 3D mesh with a neoprene comfort inset, while flexible and resistant 300D polyester fabrics facilitate movement. The fit is regular, with reflective dots on the biceps and back for greater visibility, and dual-density injected protectors on the shoulders, with shaped inserts and padded reinforcements on the shoulders, chest, back and elbows.
The CORTEX also offers additional protection options for the back and chest, making it a vest that is not only aesthetically pleasing but also highly functional and safe.
